All quilts collected will be donated to the Good Samaritan Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to benefit the tiny new babies there. Friendly Challenge 2008

Just make a little quilt for a very little baby - it's that easy! This year there are no deadlines, no contests, and no excuses... To make it even easier, we are offering FREE classes each quarter to help you make your preemie quilts!

Just for fun, we're giving away terrific prizes, with winners drawn quarterly at Open House, one chance for each quilt donated. The more quilts you bring in, the better your chance to win! The drawings start over again each quarter, but at the end of the year, we'll combine all the names from the whole year into one basket to draw for our grand prize! You can bring in your little quilt any time.

All quilts must be finished - that is, quilted and bound.  Size should be no smaller than 36” on a side and no larger than 45” on a side, but can be any design you choose. However, remember that these quilts are for tiny babies, and use your common sense about embellishments. For example, it is not recommended to tie quilts for babies.

The drawings will be held at 5 pm on each Open House, with the yearly grand prize drawing held at our December 2008 Open House. Prizes will range from fat quarter bundles to kits to really cool notions to really awesome notions...
